Pals Hop: Cute Critters

Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “Cute Critters” – showcasing their card/project with adorable animals, birds, or insects for any occasion. We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

   How's Life Friends?

Thanks for fluttering by today for the latest Pals Hop. I was very tempted to do something in the mammal realm of critters but I've been wanting to Make Do with some butterflies that have been on my mind.

Sometimes it can be downright difficult not to want everything I see in the new catalogs, special releases and such. The recent Butterfly Bouquet is just such an offering. I was inspired seeing all the projects using these brand new beauties...but I already have Butterfly Beauty and the Beauty Abounds Stamp set that I purchased as a bundle last year.

So I took it out and gave it some love since I like to Make Do.

I started with a favorite color combo and also pulled in the stamps from Enjoy the Moment to complete the design. My desk is an explosion of colors and patterns and I have so many ideas to complete. Check back the rest of this week for more;)

Do you spy those little profile butterflies? As you can see there's only one profile image in the die, and I wanted the "halves" so I cut them apart for just the look! So many ideas to try...I took mock-up photos trying all the combinations of bases, outlines, and background patterns and colors. Love them all and can't wait to assemble them!

I love these Distinktive™ images of seed pods! They look beautiful by themselves and I think they create an amazing base layer for this design.

Hope you found something to inspire you today and thanks for stopping by!

   Be Well Friends!
