Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “Great Family Occasions.” We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
How's Life Friends?
I always enjoy blog hopping with the Pals, and this month I've decided to showcase the Welcoming Window for my Mother's Day cards! I've been privileged to have lived all over the country, and I've had the chance to make friends in many places.
New Mexico's beauty stays with me still. The architecture, the building materials, the landscape, the colors, and the sunrises. I have only to close my eyes to see them and be filled with peace.
It inspired me to create this:
I used Stampin' Blends on white cardstock to mimic a sunrise reflected in the window. Calypso Coral in the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder creates a lovely adobe, and the coordinating shutter dies in Pacific Point frame the window die cut with that high desert blue.
The cacti are from the Flowering Cactus Product Suite--retiring soon--and the Crushed Curry sentiment is cut with the Many Messages die.
I plan on making other scenes for friends in Florida, Washington, North Carolina, Maine, Arizona, Colorado, and.....Check back tomorrow if you like to see some other ideas!
Nothing says family like anything to do with Mother. If you happen to be one, a Happy Mother's Day to you!
Be Well Friends!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on May 12th when our theme is “2021-2023 New In Colors” when our Design Team creates a project with the new family of In Colors for any occasion. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft space.
