Wonderful World Wednesday: The Morse Museum of American Art & Louis Comfort Tiffany

   How's Life Friends?

Wonderful World Wednesday is celebrating the retiring set Good Morning Magnolia with a beautiful look at one of my favorite artists: Louis Comfort Tiffany, son to the one you might recognize as the jeweler with the distinctive blue box. Louis went in different artistic directions and became known for pioneering glass materials and methods. His glass chapel for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition was a breathtaking accomplishment of design.

One of my favorite museums is the Morse Museum in Winter Park, Florida. It's worth at least a full day of your time if you're ever near there. They have the largest collection of Tiffany art anywhere and the information they present is amazing and inspiring. Enjoy checking out all the links on the museum's website!

This sympathy card I made is my attempt to capture some of the ideas in a home decor panel Tiffany did with magnolia blossoms.

You can also see it at the 8:58 mark in this video along with some interesting information on some of the art production from Tiffany studios.

Here's my card with a look inside:

Hope you discovered something you didn't know before today. It's a wonderful world out there!

Remember if you'd like Good Morning Magnolia it's retiring the end of this month so snag if before it's gone!

   Be Well Friends!
