It is a beautiful, frigidly cold, blue, bright, Big Sky kind of day. The light bouncing around the studio is the winter version of the Maine maritime rays enshrined in the last days paintings of Winslow Homer...

Since I am drawn to bold colors anyway, I chose to use them today to stand up to the brilliant daylight.
