It's all about bees at our house since my firstborn, darling daughter, decided to follow in the footsteps of one of her favorite literary heroes, Sherlock Holmes. [yes, we do watch the BBC's Sherlock, and the American series Elementary and love them both!]
And, since I have new stamps to play with from the Hero Arts Stamp Your Story collection...I mean, come on--they kind of have my name on them don't you think? I used them to make this year's milestone birthday card for our resident bee fanatic. I used them for all our May family birthdays as a matter of fact--easy to personalize, and useful for celebrating anything. I love them! You know--if you get some of these stamps yourself, be sure to make something fun and link up to Hero's contest HERE!
I used handmade, honey-colored paper in the perfect embossing folder border, and fussy cut some pieces of "comb." I used the little Hero splatter stamp to drip some honey all over everything! My daughter absolutely loved it I am happy to report.
Eighteen years goes by in a blink! She will always be my little girl!
