I was inspired this morning after watching Shari Carroll's video here to get out and play with some Distress Inks--and a new stamp set from WPlus9. Great post on Simon Says Stamp blog with several ideas for color combinations. I created a single card panel, cut it in two and had a great pair of cards to send out autumn greetings. Thanks to Shari for 'shari'ng this stunning color combo of Peeled Paint, Broken China, and Walnut Stain.
I had so much fun that I even made something out of my practice sheet--this little poster for my daughter. The passage is quoted from one of my favorite sites, Goodreads. Love this stamp set which has both solid and outline images. Lots of possibilities, and I love the scale of the images.
I keep forgetting how much I enjoy working with Distress Inks! How about you?
