Hello Painted Lavender

Pals 10th Anniversary Hop!!!

BLOG CANDY/WINNER CLICK HERE

Welcome to the Pals’ Blog Hop! We’re so glad you’re here. You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. This month we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Pals Blog Hop with “Critters” from the Stampin’ Pretty Pals. Many of the design team members are offering “Mystery Blog Candy” of their choice to 1 lucky winner. To play along, just leave a comment on as many blog posts as desired. A random winner will be announced on a subsequent blog post by each participating design team member. You’ll find the full line-up below to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Hello Pals Hoppers! Pleased to meet you if this is the first time you've visited here!

For the critter challenge I couldn't resist showcasing birds. I thought I'd share a simply lovely design using the stamp set Free As A Bird and our Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. I've been lucky to share an interest in birding with my son, and we marvel watching our feathered friends in the wild.

Here I layered a bit of fussy cutting [which I love to be doing while listening to my favorite radio shows, a podcast, or perhaps a morning news show] with a Pinewood Planks embossed background, and a Stitched Nested Label die cut sentiment to create a special birthday card for my friend just moved back to the states.

Inside of card

Thanks for hanging in to see this last stop on the hop! I have something fun to give away, so leave me a comment telling me how you put your own stamp on life. It could be about anything...favorite bird, things you love to do, kids, grandkids, best dish you make, favorite book...it's all about how we each make a unique contribution to the world just by being ourselves!

*The winner will be drawn on Friday, and prize/eligibility is limited to USA shipping addresses only. Thanks for your understanding!

   Make a great day everyone!

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 8th, for our “Special Occasions” blog hop when our Design Team showcase projects for weddings, graduation, anniversary, baby, Mother’s/Father’s Day or any special occasion. Don’t miss the fun!

  22. I love your card. I never would have thought to do the background in the pink woodgrain, but it totally works. My passion right now is taking care of my two grandsons ages 6 and 3. A quote I saw recently sums it up: "Being with children takes me out of my head and forces me into the moment." So true.
