Two Become One: Special Celebrating Sunflower Wedding Card

    How's Life Friends?

I've had a lovely day in the studio catching up on some making. My son and his new wife are back home and I'm finally getting their special wedding card finished. Their theme was sunflowers and cornflowers and I love the way this shows two traditional white flowers and the colored one which symbolizes their union. It's always nice when one's design idea turns out the way it's pictured in the mind's eye;)

I hand colored the diecut with Stampin' Blends to get the shading variance in this creation which is a 5" x 7" card.

I gold embossed the sentiment from Forever Fern. It's one of my favorites because of its beautiful mix of fonts, and I love the idea of laughter being in the forever after.

Hoping you are finding some love and laughter wherever you are, and have something you love to do that brings you joy! From my studio to yours...

   Be Well Friends!

  1. Lovely card!!! How do you keep the cut out parts from falling out when you die cut the white flowers?

    1. Thanks so much Lynne! and great question: I used some Press and Seal on the diecuts to keep them together while I put glue on the back. I tried one with leaving the press and seal on the back/diecutting to remove excess wrap and glued that down. I have a lot of static and it's dry in the studio so I had to be careful removing the top plate to keep everything from jumping off the platform;)

Another thought I had was to make a sandwich to just impress the design instead of cutting all the way through...

Thanks so much for asking, and I hope the ideas helped! Be Well Friend!
