Pals Blog Hop: Last Minute Gift/Card Ideas

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is Last Minute Gifts/Cards to inspire you with your holiday list. We really hope that you will be enjoy all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

   How's Life Friends?

It's a terrific time of year to be a papercrafter! It's a perfect opportunity for making presents with what you have on hand–something I've always enjoyed doing no matter the circumstances.

Having the ability to personalize a gift and/or a greeting is one of the two big reasons I became a lifelong papercrafter/stamper. The other main reason is the creative joy and feeling of flow I experience being to express myself so easily with this medium of art.

The thing I hear most often from new-to-stamping people is how they never thought they could be "artistic" and they experience success straight away with the projects I share!

Take these holiday gift card holder and tags for example. By combining the perfectly coordinated Santa Express Designer Series Paper with the colors, diecuts, and stamped images from Celebrate with Tags, and Jingle, Jingle, Jingle, I made quick, fun work of these holiday gift giving beauties.

Of course there are many smaller reasons I love having my supplies at the ready: impromptu wine bottle/host gift tag; spur-of-the-moment birthday card and bill paying cards to brighten the days of the water company clerk.

It's a way to spread the joy after I've already had the benefit of making something and expressing myself!

One of my favorite quotes comes from Ralph Waldo Emerson who wrote: "The greatest gift is a portion of thyself."

   Be Well Friends!

   Happy Holidays!!!

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on January 11th when our theme will be Sale-A-Bration Time. The design team will showcase projects made from Sale-A-Bration items.

Until then, have fun in your craft space.
