Different Every Day

I think I should revisit some Lewis Carroll books. We change moment to moment on levels felt/unfelt, and seen/unseen.... Kind of deep to think about it too much.
So I'll just comment on the stamping here: book sentiments from Papertrey Ink, and shapes from Hero Arts. I enjoy having lots of these geometric/graphic elements at my disposal as they can be used to fit any current style of design. These are actually fairly old images, yet by using 'in style' colors and techniques, they look fresh and 'now.'

Travel Notable

notable front
Just finished this project for daughter's best friend heading off to college. I have to say this is right up there with favorite things I've ever made. I love to collect images of old travel posters and such. It's nice to print them out and use them together for some unique notes.
Inside the notable there is a pocket and a jr. legal pad tablet. These are the cards I made to match and tuck in the pocket.

In case you missed my post on how to make a notable, no worries--you can catch up here.   It's a perfect time to make a back-to-school gift for someone--even yourself!
Be well friends.

Half Birthday

I've talked about having a half-birthday for my son for the last 15 years, and I finally got around to actually following through. We gave him a surprise party in July since his actual birthday gets overwhelmed by the Christmas holidays. It was lots of fun, and he enjoyed his half-sized, half-birthday card too.

It Goes So Fast...

Our girl [really a young woman...] has come and gone for the all-too-short summer. She's headed back to university and all its many opportunities. Seems like only yesterday I was at my studio desk making these spring cards...which I never got around to posting...and my girl was a tree-hugging [literally] toddler. She's always been my sunshine. Fair winds cherished one. See you soon.
